White Star Ranch

Designed for the equestrian at heart, White Star Ranch is a new 20 acre equestrian facility owned by specialist equestrian photographer Lori Ovanessian, nestled in the heart of Bakersfield, California. We offer horse photo sessions, show jumping lessons, and equestrian clinics. We have a select number of boarding spaces with access to an arena, turnouts, a hot walker, an exerciser, wash bay areas and trails. 

Whether you want to book a photography session, host an event, or simply enjoy your horse in peaceful surroundings, it is clear that #WhiteStarRanch is the place to be!

Horse-Centred Photography

I want to capture the love you share with your horse, in a way that's true to your style. You may want to capture your stallion for marketing, or need photographs for editorial, or to showcase your skills as a trainer or rider. Perhaps you're the owner of an equestrian brand and you need an authentic horse girl photoshoot to showcase your products.

That's what I do! Let’s make it happen. I'll capture your passion for horses in an authentic way that gives you dreamy memories to look back on for years to come.

Board your Horse on the Ranch

White Star Ranch offers boutique boarding facilities on 20 acres in Bakersville, CA. We have an arena, four turnouts, a hot walker, an exerciser, two wash bay areas, a track and obstacles on 10 acres of fenced land, along with access to trails off property. We also have an in house Trainer who offers show jumping and horsemanship lessons.

Events at White Star Ranch

Although White Star Ranch is a private boarding facility, we do have the occasional event that is open to the public. All of our horse clinics are open to the public and Shannon Hough Events holds the most amazing weddings here at White Star Ranch. We also hold boutique custom events on occasion.
