DIY Botanical Steam Facial

I recently found this recipe for a botanical steam facial and I love it! It smells amazing, it's relaxing and talk about unclogging pores! It's super affordable to make yourself and makes for a great gift for mothers day, a girlfriends birthday, or a hostess gift. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Here is what you will need:

Dried Chamomile, dried rose petals/buds, dried lavender, dried calendula, a large bowl, and 3-4 cups of water, towel.  (I ordered all of these items separately on Amazon in an organic form, but I also found it as a bundled kit if you prefer. )

Combine equal parts of each ingredient together in the container of your choice. Place a spoonful or two of the mixture into a large bowl.  Bring 3-4 cups water to a boil and then pour the water over the mixture.

Grab your towel and place it over your head to create a tent over the bowl. This will keep the steam concentrated on your skin. Keep a distance from your face so you don't burn your yourself, but close enough to feel the steam on your skin. Do this for about 12 -15 minutes and then wash off your face and moisturize as usual. I love this right before bed, its super relaxing.

Hope you enjoy!
